ASR Limited is a Guernsey-based asbestos abatement and consultancy company, established in 2016. We have been undertaking the removal of licensed and non-licensed asbestos containing materials and operating as a registered asbestos removal contractor in Guernsey under the Government of Guernsey’s asbestos registration scheme (States of Guernsey HSE Asbestos Registration Number: ASR/0125-1227/4).
In 2026, ASR’s Asbestos Licence application to the Health and Safety Inspectorate, Jersey, was formally approved by the Minister for Social Security under Regulation 3 of the Asbestos Licensing (Jersey) Regulations 2008.
This approval represents a significant milestone for the business and reflects the strength of our management systems, technical competence, and unwavering commitment to the highest standards of safety and regulatory compliance.
Our experienced teams deliver licensed asbestos removal works in full accordance with current legislation, approved methods, and recognised industry best practice. All works are supported by robust management systems and a strong focus on safety, quality assurance, and environmental responsibility.
ASR’s Asbestos Consultancy Division provides a comprehensive range of services, including asbestos surveys, sampling, and professional advice to support duty holders, contractors, and property owners. Our consultancy services are designed to help clients identify, manage, and mitigate asbestos risks effectively and compliantly.
In addition, we undertake soft strip and small-scale demolition works, often as part of wider asbestos management, refurbishment, or enabling projects. All works are carefully planned, controlled, and coordinated to minimise risk, disruption, and programme impact.
We are proud to be the only specialist contractor approved to undertake licensed asbestos removal works across all Channel Islands, enabling us to provide clients with a genuinely local, fully licensed service throughout the Bailiwicks

Founded by Paul Knight, who is Guernsey born and bred, ASR Limited has grown under his leadership into the Channel Islands’ foremost asbestos surveying and removal organisation. Paul is a highly accomplished, results-driven Managing Director with over 11 years of hands-on leadership experience in the industry.
As Founder and CEO, Paul combines deep technical expertise with strategic vision. He holds BOHS P402 Asbestos Surveyor certification and has extensive regulatory experience across Guernsey, Jersey, and the UK. His leadership has transformed ASR Limited from a small specialist consultancy into a market-leading, multi-disciplinary environmental services provider.
ASR remains firmly a family business. Paul’s daughter, Rachel, serves as Operations Director, overseeing the back office and ensuring the smooth day-to-day administration of the company. His son, Paul Jnr, is Contracts Director and, alongside Paul, is responsible for the day-to-day management of site operations, ensuring all works are delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards.
